Steven Spielberg, Nicole Kidman and Ang Lee are among the top-liners on the competition jury for next month’s Cannes Film Festival.
Also on the jury: Directors Cristian Mungiu (“4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days”) and Lynne Ramsay (“We Need To Talk About Kevin”), French actor Daniel Auteil, Japanese director Naomi Kawase and Indian actress Vidya Balan.
Baz Luhrmann‘s adaptation of “The Great Gatsby” opens the festival May 15; also on tap are new films from the Coen brothers, Steven Soderbergh, Alexander Payne, and Nicolas Refn.
