Tampa Bay Jewish Film Festival

The Gasparilla International Film Festival is in full swing, and continues through Saturday. And here comes another one: The 13th annual Tampa Bay Jewish Film Festival opens Monday and continues through March 15 at locations in Tampa and St. Petersburg.

film-fest-jewishNoodle (2007) is the opening night film, at USF’s Marshall Center, but the official opening night celebration takes place Wednesday at Tampa Theatre, with Heaven is Not There: The Comedy of Yisrael Campbell (aka Circumsise Me). The evening’s festivities will include appearances by stand-up comedians Rabbi Bob Alper and Azhar Usman.
