Film Festival Shuffle: Sundance Director Heads East to Tribeca

sundance2Geoffrey Gilmore, longtime director of the Sundance Film Festival, is leaving that job for the post of creative director of New York’s Tribeca Enterprises, which owns the Tribeca Film Festival.

“The move promises to realign two of independent cinema’s most powerful institutions,” Michael Cieply writes today in the New York Times.
